John Stowe graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science. He moved to Washington, DC, to work as a research assistant in the GU Neuroscience Department. He joined LINC in 2010 as the IT manager and web coordinator, for LINC and for the PIRE collaboration with Howard University and several European partner labs. John has recently overseen the purchase and installation of the lab’s new videoconferencing system, which will be used to stimulate LINC’s international collaborations.
John threw javelin and shotput for Johns Hopkins, and is now the high school throwing coach for Georgetown Day School. An alumnus of the Grammy Award-winning American Boychoir, John also sings professionally in the Washington, DC area. He is currently the cantor and bass section leader in the choirs at St. Paul’s Parish, K St., which have just released a new CD: We Sing of God.
